TL;DR: XLR8 AI and Goodie AI both help brands get cited in AI engines, but they're built around different assumptions. XLR8 AI focuses on end-to-end execution — tracking, content, off-page signals, Reddit strategy, GEO specialist support — targeting measurable Share of Voice gains. Goodie AI focuses more narrowly on structured data and feed optimization for AI shopping search. For most brands, XLR8 AI is the fuller-featured choice; Goodie AI is the right fit for retailers whose primary AI challenge is product discovery in shopping feeds.
The AI visibility market has split into two rough camps in 2026: platforms that focus on measurement and tracking (where you appear in AI engine responses) and platforms that focus on execution (getting you there and keeping you there). A few have made genuine attempts at both.
XLR8 AI and Goodie AI represent two different entry points. XLR8 AI entered the market focused on the full funnel: audit your current AI citations, identify what's suppressing your Share of Voice, build the content and off-page strategy to fix it, and measure the improvement weekly. Goodie AI entered from the ecommerce angle, with structured data optimization and feed management for AI shopping experiences as its primary value proposition.
Neither is wrong — they're solving different problems. This comparison breaks down which one fits your situation.

XLR8 AI is an end-to-end AI visibility platform built around a 5-stage system: Audit → Strategy → Content → Off-Page → Measure.
The thesis behind XLR8 AI is that most brands don't have an analytics problem — they have an execution problem. They know their AI Share of Voice is low; what they don't have is a system for improving it. XLR8 AI is that system.
Audit phase: Comprehensive baseline across 10+ AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Meta AI, Grok, Amazon Rufus, DeepSeek). The audit identifies where you're missing from AI responses, which competitors are getting those citations, and the root causes: content structure issues, off-page consensus gaps, technical problems, or brand entity clarity.
Strategy phase: GEO specialists analyze the audit and prioritize. Which AI engines matter most for your specific queries? Which content gaps are most impactful and most winnable? What's the sequencing that drives Share of Voice fastest?
Content phase: XLR8 AI generates AEO-optimized content directly — not recommendations, produced content. Blog posts, FAQ clusters, comparison pages, and landing pages structured for AI engine extraction: answer-first format, entity density, FAQ schema, and internal linking that supports Query Fan-Out (QFO) coverage.
Off-Page phase: Reddit strategy, G2 and review site presence, media mentions, forum participation. Approximately 49% of ChatGPT's commercial citations come from off-page third-party sources — Reddit is the single highest-weighted source for conversational queries. XLR8 AI identifies subreddits driving citations in your category and builds authentic community presence around them.
Measure phase: Weekly Share of Voice reporting across all tracked AI engines and query clusters. Attribution connects AI-cited traffic to pipeline and revenue.
Documented results: Hugo became the most-cited brand on Google AI Mode in 4 months. Juicebox drove 4,500+ sign-ups in 2 months from AI-driven discovery. Trackstar increased AI-attributed monthly revenue by 430%.
Goodie AI is a structured data optimization and AI shopping feed management platform designed primarily for ecommerce retailers.
Its core value proposition: as AI engines like Google AI Mode, ChatGPT Shopping, and Perplexity become product discovery channels, the product data that flows into them determines which products surface in AI responses. Goodie AI optimizes that data — structured markup, feed quality, attribute completeness — to improve product discoverability in AI shopping experiences.
Feed optimization. Goodie AI audits and optimizes product feeds for AI shopping integrations. This includes structured data markup, attribute enrichment, and feed formatting that aligns with each AI engine's product ingestion requirements.
Schema implementation. Goodie AI automates structured schema markup for product pages — Product, Offer, Review, and Organization schemas that help AI engines extract and represent product information accurately.
AI shopping integration management. For retailers participating in ChatGPT Shopping, Google's Shopping Graph, or Perplexity's Merchant of Record program, Goodie AI provides integration tooling and compliance monitoring.
What Goodie AI doesn't do: general AI Share of Voice tracking across non-shopping queries, content generation for informational/blog content, Reddit and off-page strategy, or GEO specialist support for brand-level visibility programs.
XLR8 AI: Tracks Share of Voice across 10+ engines. The breadth matters because AI Share of Voice varies significantly by engine — a brand cited in Perplexity may be absent from ChatGPT or Google AI Mode for identical queries. XLR8 AI tracks all simultaneously so you understand the full picture.
Goodie AI: Focuses on AI shopping-enabled engines: Google AI Mode (shopping results), ChatGPT Shopping, and Perplexity. Not designed for tracking brand citations in conversational or informational AI responses.
Winner: XLR8 AI for full-funnel visibility; Goodie AI for shopping-specific coverage.
XLR8 AI: Full content generation and optimization service. AEO-optimized articles, FAQ clusters, comparison pages, and landing pages produced to exact extraction standards.
Goodie AI: Not a primary feature. Goodie AI focuses on product data and structured markup, not editorial content.
Winner: XLR8 AI, definitively.
XLR8 AI: Covers the major AI shopping channels (Amazon Rufus, ChatGPT Shopping, Perplexity Merchant of Record) as part of its ecommerce strategy module. Not the deepest feed optimization tooling, but integrated into the broader GEO program.
Goodie AI: This is Goodie AI's core strength. Feed management, structured data automation, and AI shopping integration compliance — more sophisticated tooling for retailers whose primary challenge is feed quality and product data optimization.
Winner: Goodie AI for feed optimization specifically; XLR8 AI for the broader AI visibility program around products.
XLR8 AI: Built-in. Subreddit citation analysis, community presence strategy, coordinated off-page program. A defined capability with documented impact on ChatGPT commercial citation frequency.
Goodie AI: Not offered. Goodie AI doesn't address the social proof and community signals that drive ChatGPT's non-shopping citation behavior.
Winner: XLR8 AI, definitively.
XLR8 AI: Weekly Share of Voice reporting with competitive benchmarking, AI engine breakdowns, query-level attribution, and trend analysis. Attribution to pipeline and revenue.
Goodie AI: Feed performance reporting, schema coverage tracking, shopping integration metrics. Strong for ecommerce-specific KPIs; limited for overall AI Share of Voice.
Winner: XLR8 AI for brand-level AI visibility analytics; Goodie AI for product-level shopping performance.
XLR8 AI: GEO specialists for weekly strategy calls, ongoing optimization, and accountable execution. The specialist layer is a core part of the service model.
Goodie AI: Technical support for feed management and integration issues. Not a GEO strategy advisory relationship.
Winner: XLR8 AI for strategy partnership; comparable for technical implementation support.
Both platforms claim ecommerce capabilities, but they're addressing different ecommerce problems:
The product discovery problem (Goodie AI's focus): When a user asks ChatGPT Shopping or Google AI Mode to recommend a specific type of product, which products appear depends heavily on feed quality, schema completeness, and shopping integration status. Goodie AI solves this — it's the technical layer for ensuring your products are correctly represented in AI shopping experiences.
The brand discovery problem (XLR8 AI's focus): When a user asks ChatGPT or Perplexity "what's the best [product category] brand," or "who makes good [product type]," brand citations depend on content authority, off-page consensus, and AI Share of Voice — not feed quality. XLR8 AI solves this.
For ecommerce brands, both problems matter. The buyer journey in AI search often starts with a category or brand query (XLR8 AI's territory) and ends with a product-specific query (Goodie AI's territory). Brands investing seriously in AI-driven ecommerce are building programs that address both.
The practical question for most ecommerce brands: which problem is larger for you right now? If your product data is clean and your shopping feeds are working, the bigger opportunity is brand-level Share of Voice (XLR8 AI). If your products aren't appearing in AI shopping results despite query intent, fix the feed first (Goodie AI).

Consider both if:
You're a serious ecommerce brand where both brand discovery (informational queries) and product discovery (shopping queries) matter. Some brands run Goodie AI for feed management and XLR8 AI for the brand-level GEO program simultaneously.
Yes — schema implementation (FAQPage, Organization, Article, Product, HowTo) is part of XLR8 AI's technical optimization work. It's not as deep as Goodie AI's feed management tooling for large product catalogs, but for standard schema implementation on key pages, XLR8 AI covers it.
Not directly. Goodie AI optimizes product data for AI shopping queries. Informational and brand-level ChatGPT citations depend on content structure, off-page consensus, and Reddit/community signals — Goodie AI doesn't address these.
Yes, though the primary value is at the brand level (category queries, comparison queries, brand mentions) rather than individual product listings. For large-catalog retailers, pairing XLR8 AI's brand GEO program with dedicated feed management is often the most complete approach.
XLR8 AI tracks and optimizes for Amazon Rufus specifically — the AI shopping assistant integrated into Amazon that handles product discovery queries. Goodie AI focuses on Google and ChatGPT Shopping channels. For brands selling on Amazon, XLR8 AI's Rufus coverage is a meaningful differentiator.
